true vintage guitar series
Original 57 PAF
The Original 57 PAF captures the essence of the earliest humbuckers with a warm, harmonically rich tone and the characteristic sweetness in the high frequencies. A vintage-spec charged rough-cast Alnico 2 magnet and selected Plain Enamel wire provide a natural compression that responds to every nuance of your touch, enhancing the acoustic resonance of the instrument. Equally important is the use of period-correct metal components, including a nickel-silver baseplate and cover, and soft steel pole pieces. It is this rigorous attention to original construction details that defines its unique voice: a velvety and expressive tone for jazz and blues, capable of transforming into a creamy growl when pushed to overdrive.
