Its meticulous vintage-correct construction is the result of many years of dedicated research and faithfully recreates the sound of true 1957 pickups. Hand-wound with period-correct Heavy Formvar wire and featuring period-correct Alnico 5 magnets with a vintage-spec charge, the Original 57 ST produces a complex and airy harmonic range, with bright, transparent highs, broad yet defined lows, and a natural twang that makes every note come alive and three-dimensional. Its exceptional sensitivity to even the slightest variation in touch allows the player to explore every nuance of the instrument’s voice.
